Description

CANiK METE SFT

The CANiK METE SFT is a full-size, striker-fired 9mm semi-automatic polymer-frame pistol built for duty, competition, and serious range training. With a 4.47″ barrel and full-size ergonomics, the METE SFT blends controllability, capacity, and upgradeability into a single platform that performs in high-tempo environments. Offered as a firearm-only rental—no ammo, lane time, or extra magazines included—this model is perfect for shooters who want to evaluate a full-size, optics-ready handgun under real shooting conditions.

Performance & Barrel

The 4.47″ barrel provides improved muzzle velocity and a longer sight radius compared with compact alternatives, translating to better downrange performance and easier precision at intermediate distances. The METE SFT’s striker-fired action delivers a consistent trigger pull that aids accuracy and rapid follow-up shots, making it well suited for both controlled practice and dynamic drills.

Ergonomics & Controls

CANiK engineered the METE SFT with a full-size grip frame that supports multiple hand sizes and promotes a natural, repeatable hold. Thoughtful frame contours and non-abrasive texturing improve purchase without catching on clothing during draws. Ambidextrous or reversible controls (where applicable) and an ergonomically positioned slide stop, magazine release, and takedown lever keep manipulations fast and intuitive for a wide range of shooters.

Capacity & Flared Magwell

High-capacity magazine options paired with a flared magwell make the METE SFT an excellent choice for extended range sessions and competitive stages. The flared magwell speeds reloads and reduces fumbling under stress, while robust magazine fitment ensures positive indexing and reliable feeding during rapid reloads.

Optics-Ready Slide & Sights

The METE SFT ships optics-ready, with a slide cut compatible with popular mini red-dot footprints—ideal for shooters who want to add a reflex sight for faster target acquisition. Standard 3-dot white iron sights provide a dependable backup and a fast, intuitive sight picture for iron-sight work.

Reliability & Durability

Built with modern manufacturing tolerances and quality materials, the METE SFT is designed for dependable cycling, consistent feeding, and long-term durability. Slide geometry and extractor design are optimized for reliable ejection and extraction under normal shooting conditions.

Ideal Uses

Whether you’re practicing competition stages, evaluating a duty-style setup, or preparing for intensive training, the METE SFT offers the stability, capacity, and adaptability you need. Its full-size footprint benefits accuracy, recoil control, and sight radius—helpful across applications from precision drills to rapid-fire exercises.
